Volunteering
The Basingstoke Talking News service is run entirely by dedicated volunteers and we need many more volunteers to ensure that we can not only maintain our level of service, but add to it too.
There are many opportunities for volunteering and we support all our volunteers with training days and social gatherings.
Roles include:
- News Reader
- Fundraiser
- Collection Helper
- Technical Support
- Administration Support
- Community Outreach
Volunteering can be a satisfying and positive experience, helping you develop new skills, meet new people and gain confidence while supporting an important local community service.
